Invitation to Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) Networking Reception

Balancing the needs of energy security, mitigating climate change and sustainable development has emerged as a priority for countries around the world. Rapidly-growing energy demand, particularly in Asia, has accentuated the need for collaborative efforts to address these inter-related issues.

The Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore organises the annual Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) to serve as a platform for senior government officials, industry leaders and academics to meet and exchange perspectives on major energy issues in the global energy agenda. The 5th annual SIEW will be held from the 22-25 October 2012 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The theme for this year is "Shaping A New Energy Landscape", emphasising the need for governments and private sector to work together and examine new approaches to ensure a sustainable energy future.

SIEW also brings together the world's leading conferences, exhibitions, workshops and social events from across the energy spectrum of oil & gas, clean and renewable energy, smart grids, carbon abatement and energy trading to provide opportunities for networking and business development.
